Most vehicles are in and out in 15 minutes or less. Georgia OBD emissions testing is a straightforward electronic scan of your vehicle's onboard diagnostic system — no lengthy inspections, no disassembly.

Just your vehicle. Having your registration handy is helpful but not required at the time of testing. Your results are submitted directly to Georgia's system and will be available when you go to renew your tag.

We'll provide you with a report showing exactly which monitors triggered the failure. You can take that to any repair shop of your choice. Once repairs are made, come back and we'll retest you — still just $18.95.

Most gasoline-powered vehicles model year 1997 and newer registered in Gwinnett, Barrow, Hall, Jackson, and several other Georgia metro counties are required to pass an emissions test for tag renewal. Vehicles older than 25 years, diesel vehicles under 8,500 lbs GVWR model year 1996 and older, and electric vehicles are generally exempt. Yes. We are a GCAF-authorized emissions testing station. Your test results are submitted directly to the Georgia Clean Air Force system and are accepted by the Georgia Department of Revenue for tag renewal — the same as any other state-certified station.
